What to expect

Hogle Zoo's daytime Boo at the Zoo returns on Halloween with trick-or-treating around the zoo from 9 a.m.–3 p.m., while candy supplies last. The activity is included with regular zoo admission or membership, making it a separate option from the zoo's ticketed nighttime Hogle Halloween experience.

Cost and family estimate

  • Adults ages 13+: $22.95 online.
  • Children ages 3–12: $18.95 online.
  • Ages 2 and younger: Free.
  • Estimated family of four: $83.80 for two adults and two children ages 3–12, before any undisclosed fees. The zoo says online tickets save $2 per ticket compared with the gate.

Date: Saturday, October 31, 2026. Trick-or-treating: 9 a.m.–3 p.m., while supplies last. Location: Utah's Hogle Zoo, 2600 Sunnyside Ave., Salt Lake City. Zoo memberships include daytime admission.
